It was that day in the hospital cafeteria 29 years ago when our eyes locked and I said, " I am going to marry him!"

Shevelle and I exchanged phone numbers two days later when he stopped by my job and looked at me and waived through the window. To my surprise he opened the door and walked right in. I could tell he was on a mission with determination in his eyes. It took him less than two minutes before he approached me with his beautiful smile and asked for my phone number.

I can’t forget the line he used to silently impress me. He invited me on a bike ride. I was a little taken back that a grown man still rode a bike to work until he made it clear he was speaking about a motorcycle. I honestly was terrified of motorcycles at that time. I soon became to love motorcycles and of course LOVE Shevelle even more.
